BCR was allocated the largest ceiling for the First Home 6 programme – RON 220 M

Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) received from the National Credit Guarantee Fund for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (FNGCIMM), a ceiling of RON 220 M for granting loans through the governmental programme First Home 6, of which RON 70 M for buying dwellings constructed by the National Housing Agency (ANL) reads a press release.
BCR enjoys the highest ceiling distributed in the First Home 6 programme, which will operate only with loans in the Romanian currency. In some phases of the First Home programme, BCR reached a quota of up to 45 pc. BCR experts estimate that they will use most of the ceiling until the end of 2013. The interest is variable and is formed of ROBOR at 3 months and a standard margin of 2.3 for the customers that receive their wages in a BCR account. For a loan of RON 160,000 granted over a 30-year interval, the monthly instalment currently is RON 1,045 (if the customer receives his wage in a BCR account). Since August 2009, BCR granted loans worth over EUR 1.2 bln in total as part of the First Home programme and helped approximately 31,000 families to buy their first dwelling.
