The 2013 edition of the ‘George Enescu’ International Festival features a new website and, concomitantly with the start of the event, an application that can be downloaded on the iPhone or iPad, allowing access to the festival news, announced Oana Marinescu, communication director of the event.
The website also offers a map of ‘Creative Bucharest,’ the part of the festival unfolding in venues other than traditional ones – in downtown Bucharest, near the landmark buildings of the Athenaeum, the Palace Hall, on the Magheru Blvd., the Dambovita waterfront near the Tribunal building, in the Old Town.
According to Oana Marinescu, over 200 Romanian and 74 foreign journalists are accredited to the festival.
The ‘George Enescu’ International Festival will take place between Sept. 1 – 28 in Bucharest and several other cities, featuring over 150 cultural events with a lineup of high profile artists from all over the world and Romania.
