Romarm’s deputy director, under preventive arrest

The Gorj Court’s prosecutor’s office has asked the court to place defendants Lori Boian (former director of the Sadu Mechanical Plant, currently deputy director of Romarm) and Nicolae Dijmarescu (former Sadu Mechnical Plant director) under 29-day preventive arrest, Cristina Ciobanu, the prosecutor’s office’s spokesperson, stated for Agerpres. Boian, former director general of the Sadu Mechanical Plant from December 16, 2005, to June 16, 2012, is investigated for instigation to embezzlement, tax evasion and money laundering. Dijmarescu, former director of the Sadu Mechanical Plant from December 2012 to May 2013, is investigated for instigation to embezzlement, tax evasion, money laundering, forgery and failure to inform judiciary bodies. The two were placed under 24-hour preventive arrest on Tuesday evening, as a result of the ordinances issued by the Gorj Court’s prosecutor’s office.
