Hungarian tourist dies in Bucegi Massif

A Hungarian tourist who had come to spend his vacation in Romania died, most likely of a heart attack Saturday afternoon while he was in the mountains, at Omu Peak in the Bucegi Massif, Mediafax notes. Mountain rescuers were called in to retrieve the tourist’s lifeless body. At the same time, mountain rescuers in Busteni were called in to help a tourist who was unable to get down from the Bucegi Massif. Mountain rescuers in Busteni also intervened to help a tourist who had climbed on the mountain and had got lost in an area known as “Circurile Vaii Albe”.
