China Dalian Holding, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) and Huawei Corporation are interested in developing major projects in road and railway infrastructure and in information and computer technology, the Romanian Department for Infrastructure Projects and Foreign Investments said in a release. Minister Dan Sova, who heads the Department, took part in the works of the Romanian-Chinese Consultative Committee on building the transport infrastructure. ‘(…) The Chinese side will examine the projects in three months’ time and will make a decision, with the two sides to then start concrete talks on the economic, financial and technical aspects. There will follow recommendations made by both sides with a view to streamlining the go-head proper of the projects. The next meeting of the Consultative Committee will be organized in 2014,’ the release says.
