Bucharest radio journalist says she was raped

A 23 years old journalist from a Bucharest radio station made a complaint at a police station that she was raped, Tuesday afternoon, in the Lake Floreasca area, by a man who pointed a knife at her in the street. According to the representatives of the radio station, the journalist was attacked on a central avenue in Bucharest, in the area between Perla and Lake Floreasca, the man threatening her, with a knife pointed at her face, that she will lose her eye if she calls for help. “Although our colleague was crying and was clearly threatened and she was pushed hundreds of meters, no one intervened or called the 112 emergency number,” a press release of the radio station for which the journalist works says , quoted by Mediafax. Sources close to the investigation say that the images registered by the surveillance cameras on the route she was forced to follow show that she was holding hands with the man she accused of rape. The context of their going to the Floreasca Lake will be established. The representatives of the radio station say that another colleague was attacked, three weeks ago, in Bucharest, around the Aurel Vlaicu metro station, but luckily she was not physically harmed.
