“Archaic versus Modern” Exhibition at the Popular Costume Museum

The exhibition “Archaic versus Modern”, which represents the materialization of the wish to bring back the rural world in the current artistic discourse, will take place tomorrow at the Popular Costume Museum, a section of the “Dimitrie Gusti” National Village Museum in Bucharest, according to the site of the museum. The exhibition will be open until September 29, Tuesday to Sunday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The exhibition is a materialization of the wish to bring back the rural world in the current artistic discourse. The patterns of the embroideries, the rugs and of the objects in the rural household are the starting point in building the cymas scenography. The event is initiated and organized by 4ART Group in cooperation with the Outdoor Museum Association in Romania.
