The Road Code could pass next week

Internal Affairs Minister, Radu Stroe, said yesterday in the Government meeting that the Road Code project could be finalized and passed next week, after the Prime Minister had asked for this project, together with the Forest Code and that of insolvency, to be discussed and approved as soon as possible, without any further ado. “Please let us make decisions, otherwise we cannot watch TV… If there’s a show against something, we no longer want it”, Ponta said, quoted by Mediafax. “Following the debates today, we have already found a formula, but it has to be crystal clear that all parties cannot be happy”, Radu Stroe said. “You have tried”, Ponta replied. “No, we have not. We must have a very severe law, because we cannot play with the lives of people who are left crippled for life, we cannot play with the public health. Those who want otherwise, are free to no longer drive, if they find the law too tough,” Stroe answered.
