The 7th edition of Kinofest Festival to open on Friday



The seventh edition of the International Digital Film Festival Kinofest will take place from Friday to Sunday in the capital, in the program being included 150 national premiers, informed the organizers.
The 250 films, out of which 150 premiers, will be screened at Cinema Union, Energiea Pub and St. Tus Gallery. The competition sections include 71 films, all national premiers: 19 films will be presented in the “Fiction” section, 35 within the “Animation” section and 17 in the “Micromovie” section.
Starting this year, the Micromovie competition takes place online on www.kinofest.com, until September 30th: the finalist films are available for viewing on the Internet and can be voted by the public. Thus, the Best Micromovie trophy will be awarded by the audience. Kinofest is the first and most important digital film festival in Romania since 2007 and one of the most significant in the Central-East Europe.
