Russia’s Artoil enters Romanian gas market

After the Russian state-controlled gas company Gazprom entered the Romanian market last year through the company NIS, with 12 gas stations currently operational in Romania, another Russian gas company decided to open gas stations on the local market. Since the end of last year, the Russians of Artoil have already opened three filling stations in Romania, Capital.ro reports by quoting energyreport.ro. Artoil is controlled by billionaire Rishat Safin, one of the richest Russian oligarchs and former director of Russia’s oil giant Lukoil.
