Sale of CFR Marfa not delayed, GFR must pay until Monday

The deadline for the completion of the privatisation of CFR Marfa was not extended by the government in the cabinet meeting of Wednesday, so that, without any other decision, Grup Feroviar Roman must pay until Monday at latest the next installment of EUR 170 M for 51 pc of the shares, government sources told Mediafax. According to the sources, no special meeting of the cabinet on this matter is currently scheduled during the near future. Officials from the Ministry of Transport did not want to comment the information.
