DNA prosecutors yesterday searched 35 building in Bucharest, including the homes of Maricel Pacuraru, of the brother of Elan Schwartzenberg and of one of his close friends, Monica Hoffman, in a case of influence peddling and money laundering, worth over EUR 1 M. According to judicial sources quoted by Mediafax, the case is related to the disappearance of Codrut Marta. Other buildings that were raided belong to Monica Hoffman, a close friend of Elan Schwartzenberg, and to Maricel Pacuraru. Along with other people, they will be questioned by the DNA, added the sources. The case refers to acts of tax evasion and money laundering with regard to the activity of Realitatea Media, explained the same sources.
