Buss rolls over in Timis, two passengers trapped

A bus carrying 12 passengers rolled over yesterday afternoon in the county of Timis, with ten persons being able to get out of the bus on their own, and the other two remaining trapped in the vehicle.

According to Mediafax, several firefighting units, as well as mobile emergency intervention ambulances arrived at the scene of the accident.

Spokesman of the Timis County Police Ionut Bocancea said the bus, owned by a passenger transport company located in Timis, rolled over in a ditch on the county road between the Pischia and Fibis localities.

Bocancea also said that the cause of the accident was most likely the inappropriate speed, as the driver has not adapted the vehicle speed to the slippery road conditions.
