Muhtar Kent (photo), CEO of Coca Cola, the largest producer of beverages in the world with USD 40 billion in turnover, and Levent Cakiroglu, General Manager of Turkish Group Arcelik and owner of Arctic, are scheduled to arrive to Romania this week to launch two investment projects at plants in Ploiesti (Coca Cola) and Gaesti (Arctic), zf.ro reports. “I know many companies are planning to expand their business in Romania, turning the local market into a hub,” Monica Vrabiescu, managing director of executive search company Hill International, stated. The executives of the two giant companies will come to Romania shortly after the ‘business visits’ of Carlos Ghosn, head of Renault Group and Bernard Fontana, CEO of Holcim Swiss construction material producers, to Bucharest and plants within the group.
