‘Regal Vienez’ on December 18 at National Children’s Palace

If you long for the immortal waltzes of Strauss, don’t miss the show Regal Vienez (Viennese Treat), scheduled for December 18 at Palatul National al Copiilor (National Children’s Palace) of Bucharest. The waltzes, along with other well-known musical works, will come to life under the baton of legendary conductor Daniel Zakharov, in a rendition that will abound in passion and colour.
‘Regal Vienez’ will feature the vibrant voice of Marina Raddis – First Singer of the National Opera of Chisinau, the Eastern Royal Opera that will come to our country accompanies by the well-known accordion player Evgeni Nagruzza, who benefits of the copyrights granted personally by Richard Galiano, the world’s top accordionist. The Eastern Royal Opera of Sankt Petersburg has been returning for more than a decade to Romania. Under the baton of director Daniel Zakharov and having Natalia Negruzza from Moscow as concertmaster, the international orchestra which includes 27 first-class musicians will tour the cities of Europe.
The Viennese Treat is a much-beloved event, because it is the kind of performance which turns the public into part of the event. Through the extraordinary dynamic of the way it performs, the orchestra wins the public, which becomes an active part of the show, animating with enthusiastic applause the evolution of the event,
Conductor Daniel Zakharov explains: “The Romanian public is incredibly receptive. It often occurs that the spectators are those who dictate the tempo of the show, which leaves me with nothing else to do than channel their hints to the orchestra.”
