Walter Radermacher, director general of the European Union’s Statistical Office Eurostat, will pay a working visit to Romania on Nov 4-5 in order to assess the development opportunities of the institutional collaboration with the Romanian authorities in the statistics field, the National Statistics Institute (INS) said in a press release. The agenda of the visit includes government-level meetings held at the headquarters of INS, the National Bank of Romania (BNR) and other central institutions.
