Michel Roussin presents his book in Bucharest

The book “Following the steps of General Berthelot” written by Michel Roussin will be presented during an event organized on Monday at the French Ambassador’s official residence in Bucharest. The event to begin at 6 p.m. will be attended both by the volume’s writer and France’s Ambassador to Romania Philippe Gustin. The book tells the story of Michel Roussin, a young officer in the French General Staff who decided at the end of the ‘60s to write a paper about General Berthelot. In order to conduct research for his paper, Michel Roussin took the decision to visit Romania and follow the steps of the renowned general. During World War I, General Berthelot was appointed the chief of the French military mission in Romania.
