“Simbiotica” sculpture and jewels exhibition by David Sandu opens today

The artist’s works can be seen until Nov. 22 at ArtXpert Gallery.

The exhibition “Simbiotica” by Romanian artist David Sandu is a sculpture collection that is as exquisitely conceived as his acclaimed jewelry design. The artist aims to eliminate contradictions and look into the natural world of tolerance. The exhibition can be seen now at the ArtXpert Gallery. It was also hosted for a week by the French Cultural Institute. The exhibition will be open today, November 12 at 7 p.m. It is organized by Tomorrow’s Society Association in partnership with the Administration of the National Cultural Fund (AFCN). Thus, art lovers are invited to witness the expansion and blending of aesthetic categories and a re-evaluation of the minor and major concepts in the contemporary art by November 22, Monday to Friday between noon and 8 p.m., at the ArtXpert Gallery (45-47 Putul lui Zamfir Street, Bucharest). The show represents a visual speech about coexistence, reciprocity and complementarity. One of the most paradoxical connections in the nature is now applied also in art, by putting together large statues and delicate jewels, sometimes considered as very different artistic expressions.
David Sandu’s aesthetics can be described by using three words, minimalism, geometry and non-figurative. The cutting edge artist has accustomed us so far with sculptural jewels, speeches on combined forms, materials and techniques proving interdependency and complementarity. His new show points to natural elements and represents a fresh thematic direction in his portfolio.
