Children of Bodom performed with the Romania’s flag on Turbohalle’s stage in Bucharest

Bucharest music fans had the opportunity to attend another highly anticipated concert Tuesday evening. Children of Bodom returned to Bucharest to promote their new album entitled “Halo Of Blood” in a concert held at Turbohalle and organized by Promusic Events and Maximum Rock (producer Nelu Brandusan). The atmosphere was full of energy and the audience thrilled about the lights showing the colours of the Romanian flag, as well as about the perfect sound of the guitars. After all, we are talking about Alexi Laiho, the band’s leader, vocalist, guitarist and composer, ranked No. 96 out of 100 Greatest Heavy Metal Guitarists of All Time by Guitar World.
Seeing a Romanian flag on the stage stuck somewhere near the drummer, since the beginning of the concert, has boosted even more the fans’ joy and enthusiasm. A very kind gesture, why not admit it? The band played their newest songs, but also old school stuff like “Sixpounder” , “Halo of Blood” (the self titled song of their latest album), “Bodom After Midnight”, “Lake Bodom” or “Hate Crew Deathroll”.
Two other bands performed in the opening of the concert, i.e. the Polish band Decapitated, considered one of the genre’s most widely respected bands and one of the finest exponents of technical death metal, and Finnish band Medeia, an alternative death metal band the Romanian public is not to familiar with. Not only was the music and show fantastic, but their entire performance was really good.
