Nicolas Maure, the new General Manager of Dacia and Renault Romania

Beginning January 1, 2014, Nicolas Maure will be the new General Manager of Dacia and Renault Romania, replacing Jerome Olive, who will become Industrial Manager of Renault for Europe, according to a press release. Nicolas Maure will also take over as Industrial Manager of Renault for Euromed-Africa.
Engineer Nicolas Maure graduated from Ecole Centrale de Paris (ECP) and holds an MBA from Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD).
Between 1985 and 1987, Maure worked as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He continued his career in the car industry at Valeo (1988-1993) and Faurecia (1993-2000). In 2000, he was appointed Sales Manager for Parts and Accessories at Renault, and Quality Plan Manager and General Manager at Société de Transmissions Automatiques. Between September 2006 and August 2008, Nicolas Maure was Manager of Dacia Mechanical Plant. After a period of time spent in Romania, he became Vice-President of the Mechanics Department at Renault-Nissan Purchasing Organization and Manufacture Performance Manager at Renault.
Jerome Olive earned a degree in engineering from the Catholic Institute of Arts and Crafts (ICAM). His career at Renault began in 1982 at the plant in Sandouville. In January 2010, he was appointed General Manager of Dacia and Renault Romania, and as of February 2013, he has also been the Industrial Manager of Renault for Euromed-Africa.
