Romania will host next week a three-day event, one of the largest political-economic gatherings, said on Wednesday Prime Minister Victor Ponta. He announced the visit of his Chinese counterpart to Romania, given the China – Central and Eastern Europe leaders’ meeting and China-Central and Eastern Europe Economic Forum due in Bucharest on November 26.
“I want to highlight the fact that, although the budget remains our top domestic priority, as of Monday Romania will be hosting one of the largest events it has ever organized, not only the visit of China’s Prime Minister. Other region-based prime minister will be taking part in the event. It’s an economic forum that will be attended by an impressive number of businesspeople. (…) I want to ask all the ministers, not only those in charge of economic matters, because this will be the subject to be approached, to be involved and attend all important discussions. We have to sign memoranda, various agreements and this is really important,” PM Ponta said.
