Chitoiu: Money from increase in excise – forto highways and national roads



Daniel Chitoiu, Minister of Finance, stated late Wednesday at the Budget and Finance Commissions that the state budget amounts collected after the increase in fuel excise takes effect will be reserved for highways, and national and county roads, according to Mediafax. In April, he will present a legislative act to the Parliament on cutting back health insurance contributions by 5 percent as of July 1. On the other hand, fiscal evasion in the bakery sector went down 10-12 per cent after only one month since the implementation of the slashed VAT, Minister of Finance Daniel Chitoiu stated, Agerpres reports. According to him, the bakery sector is starting to pay its taxes. In his turn, Liviu Voinea, Minister Delegate for Budget, said the average number of employees in 2013 exceeded by 60,000 persons the one in 2012, a similar evolution being expected in 2014.
