Romanian Federation of Employers’ in Romanian Tourism (FPTR) and the National Association of Travel Agencies of Romania (ANAT) are launching on Friday, December 6, the special programme “Weekend in Bucharest,” for prices ranging between RON 159 and 259 for two nights in two- to four-star hotels, reads a common press release. The prices include the maximum 10 per cent commission, for the travel agencies. The prices of the special programme Weekend in Bucharest are about 65 per cent lower that the prices usually requested at hotels,” reads the common press release. In order to benefit from the special packages, the stay must take place during the weekends of December 6 to 8, December 13 to 15 and December 20 to 22, 2013. There are about 200 available spots for tourists at the moment, but the employers expect other hotels to register in the programme.
