Romanian Postal Company buys 132 cars through Rabla scrap scheme

RCI Leasing Romania IFN (subcontractor) and RCI Insurance Broker and RCI Romanian Funding (associated) will provide the Romanian Postal Company with 132 cars through a financial leasing programme worth EUR 1.5 million, VAT-included, over three years, according to realitatea.net. In the bidding announcement, the bid value was estimated at EUR 1.62 million (VAT included). The cars will be purchased through ‘Rabla’ government scrap scheme. RCI Leasing, a branch of RCI Banque which is the financial division of Renault group, was the only bidder, and the contract was offered on November 29. Once the leasing contract comes to an end, the Romanian Postal Company will use their right to opt for ownership for the leased assets.
