Romania, committed to promoting and protecting human rights

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Titus Corlatean, on Tuesday reaffirmed Romania’s commitment to promoting and protecting the human rights, showed a release of the diplomatic office in Bucharest. ‘December 10th represents a moment when we must become aware of the fact that the fundamental rights and liberties of the persons cannot be ignored or violated. It is essential that we promote and protect the human rights. Any attempt to weaken the principle of universality of the human rights is blameworthy,’ said Corlatean, according to a release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE), on the occasion of December 10th, the International Human Rights Day.
