“Royal Christmas” at the Romanian Athenaeum

Curtea Veche Publishing launched the volume “Royal Christmas” in the presence of the members of the royal family, THR Princess Margaret and Prince Radu of Romania, a gem of a book about the most intimate celebration in any family, Christmas, as it was spent in the Royal Family of Romania for almost 150 years. The event will take place in the presence of the authors in the foyer of the Romanian Athenaeum (Franklin Str. No 1-3, Bucharest) and the admission is free. The volume “The Royal Christmas” by TRH Princess Margaret and Prince Radu of Romania completes in harmony the collection of royal books which have been released since 2011 at Curtea Veche Publishing, providing the public with both the public events and the less known moments spent by the Royal Family of Romania.
“The Royal Christmas” invites us to a journey covering over a century and a half, not in a horse-drawn carriage, a train or a personal car, but in royal residencies. In the calendar of the Royal Family, the Christmas holidays is the page richest in traditions, meanings and devotion, and everything started a long time ago, in December 1866, when young Sovereign Prince Carol hosted the first Christmas in Romania in his modest Royal Palace on Victoria Avenue. “The Royal Christmas” is available on www.curteaveche.ro for RON 45.
