Rally of Popular Movement Party in Victoria Square

Several hundreds of people rallied in a meeting held by the Popular Movement Party (PMP) in Victoria Square in the presence of Eugen Tomac, Daniel Funeriu, Mihai Razvan Ungureanu, Cristian Preda and Marian Preda. Dressed with PMP logos T-shirts, the protesters held Romanian flags and banners with anti-Government messages. They shouted slogans such as “Down with the Government!” “To prison with Ponta, to prison!”. In his speech held on this occasion, Ungureanu told those present that their voice belongs to “those oppressed by this Bolshevik ruling.” He urged those present to protest every day, because “it cannot go on like that.” “These words must be heard by the entire nation,” said Ungureanu, quoted by Mediafax.
