Tamara Buciuceanu-Botez and Ion Caramitru awarded by Romanian Academy

Actors Tamara Buciuceanu-Botez and Ion Caramitru are among the winners of the Academy of Romania prizes for 2011, to be awarded during a ceremony on December 19, at 10 AM in the Aula of the Bucharest Academy. Tamara Buciuceanu-Botez and Ion Caramitru will be awarded the prize “Aristizza Romanescu” for show arts, awarded ex aequo by the Academy of Romania, according to the institution website. Tamara Buciuceanu-Botez will be awarded by the Academy of Romania for “her entire theatre and cinema creation” whereas Ion Caramitru will be honored for “Macbeth. A study.” Adrian Vasilescu, councilor for the Governor of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) will be awarded “Victor Slavescu” prize in the field of economic, legal and sociologic sciences, for his work “Ticket to get out of crisis.”
