CSOP Survey: Predoiu, only half of PDL confidence figures

Even if he was designated the PDL candidate for presidency, strongly supported by the Democratic-Liberal leader Vasile Blaga, former Minister of Justice Catalin Predoiu is less popular that the other leaders of the party, reveals a CSOP survey, quoted by evz.ro. Thus, Catalin Predoiu has a 10 per cent confidence score, whereas the other PDL leaders Vasile Blaga, Monica Macovei, Elena Udrea and Emil Boc have 12 per cent. As for the leader of the Civic Force Mihai Razvan Ungureanu he has a 14 per cent confidence score. According to the same survey, PDL is preferred by 20 per cent of the voters, Catalin Predoiu thus enjoying only half of the party’s general score. On the other hand, PM Victor Ponta and Governor of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) Mugur Isarescu have 25 per cent of the population’s confidence, according to a CSOP survey, published by pesurse.ro. Sibiu Mayor Klaus Johannis is level with Bucharest General Mayor Sorin Oprescu with 20 per cent and USL candidate Crin Antonescu shares the same figures with President Traian Basescu, both of them rated with 16 per cent. Current and former PDL leaders Vasile Blaga and Emil Boc are on par, with 12 per cent.
