Resignations at Ploiesti County Hospital

Chairman of the board of Ploiesti Emergency County Hospital and the two board members from Prahova County Council resigned their offices following the recommendations from the Ministry of Health who made investigations. “In the report of the Control team the recommendation was to change the board. I wrote this recommendation to them and they resigned,” said chairman of Prahova County Council Mircea Cosma. Former chairman of the board of the hospital Mirela Neagu is a family doctor and was appointed in the board by chairman of Prahova County Council, being also a personal advisor to Mircea Cosma. The other two members appointed in the board by Prahova County Council are an engineer and an economist. The Ministry of Health released the report of the control made at the Emergency County Hospital in Ploiesti, concluding that the hospital had an “irresponsible and flawed management.”
