Banca Transilvania expands to Rome

Banca Transilvania (BT) opened Friday, January 3, in Rome, an office specifically destined to Romanians, both natural persons and companies, informs a press release. BT thus becomes the only Romanian bank in Italy. Horia Ciorcila, Chairman of the Board of Banca Transilvania, said: “(…) The expansion abroad is a business opportunity for our bank. The Romanian-Italian relations and the strategy we have for BT Italia will certainly contribute to the organic growth of the bank.” The customers of the Italy branch have access to the entire range of Banca Transilvania products and services: deposits, loans, BT24 Internet Banking and Mobile Banking, cards, money transfers, the SMS Alert service, Direct Debit, the possibility of paying the invoices to their providers in Romania etc. Furthermore, for its first customers, the offer of BT includes, until the end of March 2014, three packages of free products.
