Head of SRI attacked by hackers

The Yahoo account belonging to director of Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) George Maior was hacked into by “Guccifer,” the same hacker who revealed some years ago the correspondence, deemed by many as “amorous” between general Colin Powell and Romanian MEP Corina Cretu, revealed Thesmokinggun.com website.
“It is an old private email belonging to George Maior, prior to his taking over the helm of the Service and which was used only for the academic sphere. He used to receive correspondence only for the academic area and was managed by an assistant in this respect. All the legal measures will be taken for these situations, and “the Little Guccifer” will be caught some time or another and brought to justice according to the law,” SRI spokesman Sorin Sava told MEDIAFAX. According to Thesmokinggun.com a large cache of documents reveals that the illegal “Guccifer” incursions have victimized scores of other high-profile victims both in the U.S. and overseas during the past year. With few discernible patterns, “Guccifer” has hopscotched between the accounts of victims like comedian Steve Martin; editor Tina Brown (seen below); ex-Nixon aide John Dean; author Kitty Kelley; actress Mariel Hemingway; three members of the UK’s House of Lords; a former Air Force secretary; the CEO/chairman of MetLife, the USD60 billion insurance conglomerate; a Pulitzer Prize winner and a Gibson Dunn partner with the improbably Dickensian name Cantwell F.  Muckenfuss III. Along the way, “Guccifer” has also gathered the cell phone numbers of Robert Redford and Warren Beatty, the private e-mail addresses for Nicole Kidman, Leonardo DiCaprio, and other celebrities.
