Romanian Post hikes tariffs for some services on January 1

The tariffs for services offered by the Romanian Post National Company (CNPR) were hiked starting on January 1, including in the case of subscriptions for the rental of nominal/non-nominal post office boxes by physical or juridical persons, the company announced yesterday. On December 20, 2013 the National Authority for Communications Administration and Regulation (ANCOM) announced that the Romanian Post was designated supplier of universal services in the postal services domain for the January 1, 2014 – December 31, 2018 period, in order to offer all postal services included in the sphere of universal service.
