“La Traviata,” Saturday at ONB

“La Traviata,” the most famous of Verdi’s operas comes to life again on Saturday on 7 pm at the National Opera Bucharest (ONB) with a special staging devoted to the anniversary of soprano Elena Mosuc, who has a spectacular career abroad, reports the institution. Elena Mosuc will play the role of Violetta Valery on Saturday, and the Danish tenor Sune Hjerrild, known as the tenor with the most beautiful voice of his generation, will play the character Alfredo Germont. “La Traviata” has two breaks and ends at about 9.45 pm.
