British diplomat’s body found after plunging to death in Baia Mare

An attaché of the UK Embassy in Bucharest, 46-years-old, was found dead on Thursday after having plunged from the seventh floor of a hotel in Baia Mare. Maramures Ambulance Service director Zoltan Balko said the man was found with a cardio-respiratory arrest, a severe head injury and numerous lesions. The medical staff tried to resuscitate him but to no avail. According to police sources quoted by Mediafax, the deceased is an attaché of the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Bucharest. The police officers found a good-bye note in his hotel room  that investigators are to analyse.
