CE Oltenia auctions EUR 60 M in energy

Oltenia Energy Complex, one of the largest state-owned electricity producers, plans to sell RON 273.3 million (EUR 60.33 million) in electricity on the OPCOM energy stock exchange, according to Mediafax. Through 11 bids scheduled for Tuesday, the company will offer buyers 1.48 million MWh of electricity, the equivalent of 2.5 percent of Romania’s overall production in 2012. The price per MWh varies between RON 184 and RON 186, depending on the size of the energy package bid. Nuclearelectrica, another state company, will attempt to sell 1.67 million MWh of energy worth EUR 63 million on Thursday through a single bid on OPCOM.
