On February 1, 2014, Schneider Electric will appoint Florentina Totth as Country President of its Romanian subsidiary. Florentina Totth is currently Vice President of the company’s Energy Division, a press communiqué informs. The appointment of Florentina Totth at the helm of the local subsidiary marks two premieres for Schneider Electric Romania: the first and the most important consists of the fact that the leadership of the local subsidiary will be taken over by a Romanian 17 years after its creation, falling in line with a general trend within the group; and the second consists of the fact that Florentina Totth will be the first woman appointed on that position. Florentina Totth succeeds Saulo Spaolanse, who will successfully end the term he started in January 2011. In the following period Saulo Spaolanse will hold a similar position at the helm of Schneider Electric’s subsidiary in Singapore.
