MI6 chief welcomed at Cotroceni

President Traian Basescu welcomed Chief of the UK Secret Intelligence Service MI6 John Sawers yesterday at Cotroceni Palace According to a release from the presidential administration, the talks aimed the cooperation between the Romanian and British security institutions in fighting terrorism, cyber-terrorism and other forms of illegal activities against citizens and member states of the North-Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). John Sawers said the partnership with the intelligence community in Romania is one of the best the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland has and that our country has lately gained the fame of a major NATO ally.
