Apuseni Mountains air crash case taken over by Military Prosecutor Office

The investigations into the Apuseni Mountains air crash case will be continued by the military prosecutors from the High Court of Justice (ICJJ), after the Alba Iulia Court of Appeals’ Prosecutor’s Office declined its jurisdiction because it has to hear persons from the state’s central institutions with prerogatives in handling emergency situations, the jurisdiction in this case belonging to the Military Prosecutor Office. Prosecutors from the Alba Iulia Court of Appeals have concluded a first stage of investigations into the airplane crash that took place in the Apuseni Mountains. According to the High Court of Justice’s Prosecutor’s Office, the investigation has so far taken place at the crash site and pieces of evidence have been picked up.
