Sensational folk metal and doom at Silver Church

Despite the cold and snow which was still lying everywhere, Silver Church club was crammed on occasion of Bucovina band releasing their album “Under the Stars.” Not to mention that the only true doom metal band in Romania, Abigail, got on the stage as guests. A perfect show, unfortunately marred by several sound problems, which were overlooked however the moment the songs were flowing so good and the atmosphere was more and more thrilling. A progressive/atmospheric/doom/death metal fully enjoyed by those present in Silver Church. The set list included “It is the night I fear”, “Mirror/Room Without Windows”, “Astral Sleep”, “Astral Sleep part II”, “Shades of a Distant Light”, “Sweet Cruelty” and the famous “Sonnet”. Their show ended with a surprise offered to Blackhawk Security team which celebrated four years. Barely ten minutes had passed when the band representative for the Romanian folk metal, Bucovina, got on the stage. They have more than 13 years experience and three albums released by now. They had an excellent communication with the public over the show and voiced their joy at being along a wild crowd, which was extremely surprising. Bucovina is a beloved band and it is right to be so. They sounded very good, with lots of energy and passion. The songs on the new album “Under the Stars” were not new for any of those present. The album which was released last autumn was already famous and appreciated. Among the songs performed there were “Tell me, wind,” “Bucovina, my heart,” “Moon over the peaks,” Hawk in the sky” or “River of time,” and they were recalled on the stage. Three more songs and that was it.
A complete evening, which concluded with autographs, pictures and stories like among friends.
