Minister of Transports asks two ROMATSA directors to resign

Aleodor Francu and operational director Bogdan Donciu, both responsible for the delay in locating the plane crashed in Apuseni Mountains, were still present on the official website of the company with leading positions on Tuesday, although they submitted their resignations after the incident, reads evz.ro. After the journalists started to put questions, the webpage was restricted in the afternoon, and the Ministry of Transports asked for their resignation, according to a press release issued by the Ministry press office. “Following the report presented by the Prime Minister, ROMATSA board were asked the resignation of the two directors Aleodor Francu general director and Bogdan Donciu vice operational director. ROMATSA is under the emergency government ordinance 109/2011, reason for which the Ministry of Transports cannot get involved in the company’s managerial structure, only the board can do this,” reads a press release issued by the Ministry of Transports after EVZ published the news that the two directors retained their positions. State Secretary within the Minister of Transports Cristian Ghibu on Wednesday announced he resigned from office.
