“Martisor fair,” between February 27 and March 2 at Peasant’s Museum

“Martisor fair” at the National Romanian Peasant’s Museum (MTR) in the capital city will take place between February 27 and March 2, and more than 500 participants announced their presence, same as each year, to display a wide range of Martisor (small decoration with red and white string traditionally offered as talisman), reports Mediafax. One can find at the fair also sweets such as gingerbread, Hungarian traditional pastry kürt?s kalács, apples and homemade cookies, natural apple juice, honey and jams. Creativity workshops will be set for both kids and grownups. Those interested can attend the fair between 10 am and 6 pm. Tickets are RON 4, but RON 2 for students and pensioners.
