Arafat: increasing number of deaths caused by traumas among youth

Romanian doctors in the emergency units, ICUs and ambulance participate for the first time in a European trauma course, as more and more deaths caused by traumas have occurred among young people, said Secretary of State Raed Arafat on Monday. “The European trauma course, to be held together with the European Society of Emergency Medicine, the European Council of Resuscitation and the European Society of Anesthesia Intensive Care, will last for three days. Doctors from hospitals, emergency units, intensive care units and ambulance units participate in this course. This is the first trauma course held in Romania, in Targu Mures,” Secretary of State with the Ministry of the Interior Raed Arafat told Mediafax.
