Kobra Paige joins Phil Anselmo at Metal All Stars blockbuster concert in Bucharest

One more name has been added to the Metal All Stars blockbuster concert line-up to be held at Romexpo – Kobra Paige. The front woman of Kobra and The Lotus will join rock legends Phil Anselmo, Zakk Wylde, Joey Belladona, Max Cavalera, and Ross the Boss in a musical event organized in Bucharest on March 24 by Phoenix Entertainment.

Kobra Paige is one of the best voices on the metal world-stage. The Canadian musician is considered the engine behind the band Kobra and The Lotus. Kobra Paige’s extraordinary talents as a pianist and vocalist, and her gutsy attitude and rock star charisma have secured her a strong position in the heavy metal arena. Her presence will surely make Metal All Stars a mesmerizing event.

“We’ll sing original songs and maybe some Manowar and other songs that will have to remain a surprise. It’s an honor for me, a dream come true. I’ve met Zakk Wylde when my band and I played a concert; it will be wonderful to play with him again. This tour will be more beautiful than any other before. My band is on the rise and we are dying to be part of this great world event – Metal All Stars. It will be amazing and the mood created by major musicians from different bands will be vibrant and unpredictable,” Paige said about the upcoming event.

Phil Anselmo, former vocalist of Pantera, will be returning to Bucharest after 2010, when he opened for AC/DC with Down. Yet on March 24, 2014, he will play Pantera songs in Bucharest for the very first time. “There will be lots of moments when we will all take the stage in an epic metal jam and I can’t wait for it; I grew up with many of the people involved in this project and I have a deep respect for every one of them. Some, I haven’t met before, but it’s a pleasure to get to know new members of the Heavy Metal community and family, because contact with such artists is an enriching experience,” Phil Anselmo stated enthusiastically about the show that will make rockers’ hair stand on end.

Metal All Starts was devised as a 4-hour mini-festival that reunites rock musicians who have made history, including Phil Anselmo (Pantera), Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, ex-Ozzy Osbourne), Max Cavalera (ex-Sepultura, Soulfly), Kobra Paige (Kobra and the Lotus), Joey Belladonna (Anthrax), Udo Dirkschneider (ex-Accept, UDO), Cronos (Venom), Nick Menza (ex-Megadeth), Rob Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne), Ross the Boss (Manowar), Jon Donais (Anthrax), Aaron Rossi (Ministry, Prong), Jesse Bilson, Jasin Todd (Shinedown), Brian Fair, and Matt Bachand (Shadows Fall).
