The executive board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are assessing on March 26 the first two evaluations of the stand-by agreement with Romania, according to the schedule released on the web page of the international financial institution. The evaluations were made in Bucharest this January by the IMF mission led by Andrea Schaechter. According to Schaechter, the only target missed by the authorities in Bucharest is reducing the arrears cumulated by the public companies for the last quarter of the previous year.
