Contract to implement Gamma Beam System within ELI-NP project, signed

Minister-Delegate for Higher Education, Scientific Research and Technological Development Mihnea Costoiu hails the signing of a new contract for funding the Romanian research, under which the Gamma Beam System will be implemented, within the Extreme Light Infrastructure – Nuclear Physics (ELI -NP) project, informs the Ministry of National Education. According to the cited source, the ‘Horia Hulubei’ National Institute of Research-Development for Physics and Nuclear Engineering (IFIN-HH) signed on Wednesday, March 19, in Rome. The contract was signed with the representatives of EuroGammaS Consortium, which includes seven European prestigious institutions and enterprises in the field: Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nuclear (Italy), the leader of the Consortium, Universita degli Studi di Roma ‘La Sapienza’ (Italy), Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (France), ALSYOM S.A.S. (France), ACP Systems S.A.S.U. (France), COMEB Srl (Italy) and ScandiNova Systems (Sweden).
