The 14th edition of the Radio Romania Cultural (RRC) Awards Gala took place on Monday night at Odeon Theatre in Bucharest. This year witnessed a premiere in the Gala history. For the second year in a row, the same poet gets the award for “Poetry,” namely Dan Sociu, for his volume “Come with me, I know exactly where to go” (Tracus Arte publishing house), reports RRC. Actors Medeea Marinescu and Vlad Zamfirescu were the gala hosts. Prizes were awarded for ten different sections, thought to render an exact image of the Romanian cultural world and of the major achievements of the year 2013, in various fields of culture. Three special prizes were awarded at this gala. Thus, the Excellence Award was given to actor Victor Rebengiuc, Lux Mundi Award was bestowed to soprano Angela Gheorghiu and the “In memoriam Iosif Sava” Award went to violinist Razvan Stoica.
