EHF Cup: HCM Constanta to face Sweden’s Lugi HF in quarters

Romanian men’s handball team HCM Constanta will face Sweden’s Lugi HF in the quarterfinals of the EHF Cup, following the draws that took place in Vienna on Tuesday.
The Romanian title holders will play the first game at home, on April 19 or 20, and the return leg in Sweden on April 26 or 27, eurohandball.com informs.
HCM finished second in Group D, behind Fuchse Berlin but ahead of France’s Chambery Savoie Handball and Slovakia’s HC Sporta Hlohovec. Lugi HF finished Group A on the top position, followed by Spain’s Reale Ademar Leoan, Hungary’s Csurgoi KK and Germany’s TSV Hannover-Burgdorf. HCM Constanta qualified for the quarterfinals after winning their home game against France’s Chambery Savoie Handball on Sunday, 29-25.
