24 Romanian inventions in Geneva Show

Romanian researchers will participate, April 2 to 6, in the International Inventions Show in Geneva with 24 inventions, the Ministry of National Education (MEN) informed on Wednesday. Romania’s stand in Geneva has 32 sq m but there will also be stands of some Romanian inventors who will participate independently with other eight inventions. “Romania is also represented in the International Jury of the competition with personalities of the scientific community in the country: Radu-Ioan Munteanu, former rector of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Doru-Dumitru Palade, former Minister of Research and Technology, and Constantin Oprean, former rector, currently president of the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu. In 2010, Mircea Tudor, president of MBTelecom, was included as a member of International Jury. He was awarded the Grand Prize of the Geneva Show in 2009, a performance recorded again last year”, the MEN informs in a press release.
