MFP borrowed RON 14.1 M from local banks

The Ministry of Public Finance (MFP) borrowed RON 11.4 million from commercial banks on Tuesday, selling bonds with a residual maturity of nine months with 5.26 percent yield. This Treasury loan is a supplement of the bonds tender on Monday through which MFP has borrowed RON 200 million from local banks. In the non-competitive bids session scheduled yesterday, MFP intended to borrow RON 30 million. In 2014, MFP borrowed more than RON 11.4 billion lei and EUR 680 million from local banks, and USD 2 billion on international markets.
